BC Hydro Northwest Transmission Line

Through these Direct Award Contracts each of the joint ventures cut, cleared and built road access, including bridges, for approximately 40 km of right-of-way for the Northwest Transmission Line (NTL). The joint ventures also managed the environmental monitoring and first-aid requirements for the projects. The NTL is a 344-kilometre long, 287-kilovolt transmission line between the Skeena Substation (near Terrace) and a new substation to be built near Bob Quinn Lake. We are happy to report that both contracts were completed successfully thanks to the hard work of partners, the Brinkman team and our subcontractors.
